ABOUT ME:
Hi! I am Gretchen McElveen. I live in Helena, AL with my husband and our dog. No kids for us yet…but soon! I work full time as a physical therapist in an outpatient clinic but of course I would rather be scrapbooking! In addition to scrapbooking I enjoy running, watching Nascar and Alabama football, eating Mexican food, reading the Twilight books, hanging out with friends and family, drinking Dr. Pepper and sweet tea, surfing the internet for cool scrapbooking websites, and playing with our dog.
MY GREATEST ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
-earned a tennis scholarship to college
-masters degree in physical therapy
-married the coolest guy ever
-ran 2 marathons

LENGTH OF TIME SCRAPBOOKING:
I have been scrapbooking for about 7 years. My aunt introduced me to scrapbooking by way of Creative Memories during college but I did not really get into it until after we got married and I got a real, money-paying job in 2002. I still have the corner rounder I bought during my first CM party though!!
FAVORITE KI MEMORIES PRODUCT:
I love KI’s patterned papers! I am a sucker for patterned paper anyway, and KI’s bright colors and fun patterns had me all the way back at the Holiday Collections of 2004 (those are the first KI Memories papers I remember buying!).
WHY I SCRAPBOOK:
Scrapbooking is such an incredible hobby! It is my creative outlet and a way to express emotions and feelings I often have difficulty saying. It is my way of documenting life and the special people who are such a big part of it. I cannot think of a much better way of spending my free time! And I do it because I love it!
