KI Kindergarten : Best Friends Forever : A Card Class

Happy World Cardmaking Day!  

In honor of the holiday we are sharing a FREE card class using KI Memories Friendship.  This class consists of three 5" x 5" cards each with an entertaining paper technique.  The focus of this  class is using patterned paper to create embellishments that can be repeated easily, whether on cards or layouts.  By using patterned paper as the main design and adding a few other embellishments here and there the cards can be reproduced relatively inexpensively.  The cards are perfect to give as a set to a friend....or mailed to your three best friends.  As with all KI Kindergarten Classes we have a free PDF download with photos and instructions.  Download the file below. KI Kindergarten: Flourish Patterned Paper Backgrounds

This week I went had a great time playing with Flourish so I decided to group the layouts together for a new KI Kindergarten class!  The amazing thing about these three layouts....they all three use the same sheets of paper from the new Flourish 8" x 8" Paper Pad.  That means I've still got so much paper left in my pad!  Patterned paper is the most versatile supply.  With these three layouts I'll show you three ideas for using patterned paper in your background.  And don't forget....I used the same sheets of paper for all 3!

The "baby" is entering high school tomorrow. How did that happen? She's off this morning to freshman orientation followed by a 7:32 am bus ride tomorrow. Even though she's been trying to get up early all week, it has not been easy. The oldest just moved to San Francisco for a trainee program with a ballet company. It's a year of big changes!

KI Kindergarten: Fabulous Frills & Fun with Patterned Paper

 

Hello!  These layouts were are part of a class I taught for the Reflections event and I thought they would be great to share here.  They are some of my very favorite layouts using my favorite recent KI Memories products.  Hope you enjoy! 

Class Description:

Patterned Paper is what it’s all about!  This is going to be a entertaining class full of bright colors and wonderful KI Memories Patterned Paper….lots of it!  We’ll give center stage to the papers and make amazing pages.  You will complete three 12” x 12” layouts each with fun ideas you can apply to your projects.  So, let’s put a little color (and pattern) in your life!

KI Kindergarten: Be Joyful : A Card Set

KI Kindergarten : Sheer Delights Three Ways!

Hello, we're back with another KI Kindergarten class.  If you've missed previous posts regarding KI Kindergarten it is a monthly class series we've started complete with a free PDF to download.  You can use the supplies listed or substitute with things you have on hand at home.  The classes will vary in projects to layouts.  You can see the first class here. 

This month we are bringing you a class based on Sheer Delights.  They are such a fun product and we want to inspire you to use them.  In this class you will explore three different ways to use them in your projects.  These ideas are just jumping off points for your own creativity.  Take the ideas and apply them however you like!

KI Kindergarten : School Days : Back to School

It's time for class!  The first KI Kindergarten class is appropriately centered around School Days products.  Celebrate back to school time with three fun projects!  The beginning of a new school year is the perfect time to get organized for the upcoming year.  In this class you will decorate file folders for those important school papers, embellish a journal, and create a contact booklet.  These projects are great for a scholar who is starting kindergarten or high school!
