This is another layout from the Calendar Class at Scrapfest. Create a photo collage to document a meaningful day. Even with 4 photos there is a lot of room for embellishments!

This week your Challenge is to Capture a Week. Now, I'm not saying that you need to walk around all week with a camera on....but you can. Or you can make a list of the things that typically make up a week at your house...and then find the pictures to go with them. This is the perfect way to use up those 'extra' photos. You know, the ones that are left over after you scrapbook a specific event or day. This layout is what a typical week looked like for us this past summer. These photos were not all taken the same week, or even the same month, but they get the idea across about what it's like at our house.
Instead of wasting the space on the back of the Sew Cute Calendar page I made use of it. I put a 5" x 5" Pocket on the back to hold the journaling. When this layout goes into my album I won't put a layout on the backside, so it will be like a double sided page. Make the most of what you have!

Sometimes it's that simple....
Today I didn't find the need to overcomplicate my layout. These Pink Heart Puffies were exactly what my photo needed. A scrap of a Sew Cute Calendar border, a Glitter Sticker Border, Glitter Alpha Stickers......and a tagline on a couple flags cut from packaging. There is plenty of room on the back for journaling.
Has scrapbooking been overwhelming you lately? Today, keep it simple. I bet you'll be happy with the results!

I have a secret....when I make a card I want it to be quick and easy. But they still need to be cute! With Puffies that is totally possible with just a few simple supplies. I had some name tags leftover from a neighborhood party, a few partial sheets of patterned paper, a bit of cardstock, Tattoos, and of course, Puffies. About 20 minutes later I had three cute cards ready to send. What do you have on your desk right now? Use it to put a few cards together.

I have this habit of wanting everything on my pages to be 'grounded'. To have a place. Sometimes it's fun to try to break this little habit. On this layout I first decided on an out of the ordinary place for my photo and journaling. Then I placed several Puffies Butterflies throughout the center of the layout. I felt like it needed a little more, so I added the Glitter Stickers. I placed them in between the Butterflies and let them 'float' with them. To add a little sparkle I sprinkled Gemstones throughout the middle.
It was fun to do a layout that doesn't resemble the others in my scrapbooks. I challenge you to do the same....let the embellishments float across your page!
Swimsuits have some of the most colorful and fun designs and can be a great source of inspiration for your page. On this layout I matched colors of KI's Glitter Cardstock to the stripes in her swimsuit and mimicked the striped pattern. If you look closely you can see that there are some little tiny flowers on her swimsuit as well. I added a few Puffies to my layout to coordinate. For the title I combined several Glitter Stickers with Hip Chip.

What I love about Puffies is that they are so detailed that they can stand out as the lone embellishment on your page. They are perfect for those simple pages where you want the focus to be on the photo, the words, and the perfect Puffies embellishment.

All you need is an inexpensive make-up bag and add some Puffies. With 42 Puffies to choose from there is bound to be something that fits the theme you are looking for. This would also make a fun activity at a sleepover!
To attach the Puffies I adhered them to a bar pin and then attached the pin to the bag. That way they can easily be removed to wash the bag or to change the theme!
Baby socks that is! Looking for a cute and personal gift? I found these socks at a craft store. With just a couple Puffies they are as cute as can be! I put the Puffies onto a bar pin. That way you can remove the Puffies before washing and even switch up the theme of the Puffies to match outfits!
