Hello! It's time to spotlight a KI Fanatic again! Laina Lamb emailed a layout that really stood out to me. Here it is:
I think what stood out was her combination of the new and the older. Here she combined some newer Festive with some older Alpine. They look great together!
Let's get to know Laina now....
About Me:
Hi! My name is Laina Lamb. I live in Bay Village, Ohio with my husband Steve and our three sons & rock legends, Maxwell Presley, Cooper Marley and Emmitt Cash. Our dog Frank was named after Sinatra. I attended the University of Cincinnati and have a degree in Interior Design. Before I “retired” to become a full-time mother, I designed retail stores, malls and really big signs. I enjoyed the job, but it was very demanding. I decided that the biggest thing I want to design from now on has to fit on a 12x12 piece of paper. For the past two years I have had the privilege to be an Events Coordinator at Archiver's. I have a dream job that allows me to learn, teach and share the wonderful hobby of scrapbooking.

Favorite KI Product:
Every piece of striped paper from every single collection. If I could wallpaper my house with it I would.
My favorite collection is Organized. I started scrapbooking in the Winter of 2006. My first trip to a LSS (Preserving Tomorrow's Memories, Lakewood, OH) was shortly after the release of Organized. I walked up to the KI display and was in love with the graphic patterns and bold colors. From that moment forward, KI was and always will be my favorite.
My Scrap Space:
I have a large area in my basement dedicated to scrapbooking. The room has lots of open shelving and bright lights. I have slowly added to it over the past two years and have perfected it to the point that I don't want to scrapbook anywhere else. My favorite part about my space is that I have added a "kids" area and desk so that my young boys can join me making art. They are never afraid to experiment with paper, paint and punches.
Thank you for sharing yourself with us Laina! A KI goodie is soon to come!
Remember, if YOU would like to be spotlighted on the KI Blog send an email to me with your KI project!
