In 2010 I had a baby and moved...and so for a long time, my Silhouette machine has been gathering dust in a corner of my office waiting for me to have some time to hook it up to my computer, add a new blade and carrier sheet, and finally start using it again! This recent page by Amy Licht inspired me to do my own version of tone-on-tone using some butterflies (butterflies_C00018_28466) from KI Memories for Silhouette.
I resized the photo to a small polaroid using Photoshop, added the date of the photo and printed it out on my photo printer. I added the journaling, a KI "La.Di.Dah" Softie circle embellishment, and a sticker from KI "Paisley Parade" Pop Art which I attached using a glue dot. Then, I cut out the letter "M" and bunch of butterflies in two sizes using my Silhouette, and glued them to the page. I like that it is a simple page, but still looks and feels complete. And it was super fast and easy to make! :)
