Do you sometimes hold off on creating a scrapbook page or pages of a special event because it seems like it will be a lot of work getting all the photos and journaling done? I am right there with you. I have a ton of great pictures from my daughters first birthday party that I really need to get in her book...but since I am not sure if I want to try to put them all onto a page spread or maybe just print the photos and put them in a divided sleeve...my indecision means it's not getting done.
Instead of struggling to solve the whole thing right now, I printed a few of the pictures that felt emotional to me, and gave myself permission to just quickly scrap those. Now, even though it's only a brief snapshot of a moment in the day, it is still capturing the memory of her party...it has a place in the book to enjoy for now, and to remind me to finish telling the whole story when I am ready to sit down and get it done.
My challenge for you is to scrap a "placeholder" page of your own. Make it frilly or uncomplicated or whatever you want!
