we're having to work around too many people's work schedules . . . but will be shooting off some fireworks at my mom's house once it gets dark!

We're going with friends to see "Art in the Park", then we'll be having a barbecue at our home. It's a great way to spend the 4th.

I am celebrating by scrapbooking all day! We are going to bbq for dinner & we may go to a fireworks show tonight, but that's about it. Oh, and make sure that our house doesn't get burned down when the neighborhood turns into a war zone tonight!

So, I am not American and don't celebrate today but I did have a fabulous day nonetheless. A trip to the park with family - playing at the playground, feeding the ducks & splash pad fun!!

A day in Ocean City and Cape May, NJ riding bikes and enjoying the beaches, seashore and family.

    Jenny

We celebrated the 4th out at the lake with lots of family and friends. Good food, lots of laughs, and plenty of sunshine...good times! :)

We hung out at home for a little while (first day hubby's had off work for a LONG time) and then went to my parents house to swim and cookout. All in all, a perfect day!! And the bonus was that both kids slept til 8:30 this morning. Yay!

    Amber Scurlock

We went to our local fireworks, which were HUGE because it was a Centennial celebration of the town's incorporation...it was great fun! =)

Per our two year old daughter who makes ALL the plans in our house...as dictated to Nana and Papa on the phone in a very excited voice: we're going to the 'beach' (our sandbox), svimming vith pishies (apparently she's swedish with the accent - oh and that means in our pool), drawerin' on the road (using sidewalk chalk), riding bikes (exactly what it means), ICE CREAM (screamed with eyebrows raised), watch sparklies (fireworks), play ball (again, exactly what it means) and OH...naptime (said REAL quiet with a sad little face and head down)...she's quite the character...and that's exactly what we did this weekend....according to Gabrielle.
