Have you seen all the new KI Memories Glitter Lace Cardstock patterns? If you haven't, it's time to take a look! TWENTY new designs were recently released. They all have a glitter coating that makes them a bit sturdier, and the best thing...the glitter doesn't come off. The KI Design Team was tasked with putting their Glitter Lace Cardstock to work....and boy did they!
I went for high contrast on my layout. This is an enlarged photo with a lot of 'white/black space'. To fill the space I covered it with Flower Child Pinata Glitter Lace Cardstock. To do this I left the Glitter Lace Cardstock in the packaging and placed it over the photo. I used a permanent marker to trace around the face. Then I cut the line I drew right through the packaging. It came out perfect without having to worry about markings on the paper.
Jen Johner combined several patterns and colors to create her layout. I just love the colors she combined. The feminine patterns combined with the Bark Fresh Glitter Lace Cardstock is such an awesome mix.
And don't forget, you can cut Glitter Lace Cardstock into shapes like Tracy Miller did. Cards are a perfect way to use your scraps!
Dusti Nakamura is full of fun ideas! Look at this! Here are her directions:
"I traced and cut the "artisan" shape from the middle of my Glitter Lace cardstock. Some smaller pieces of your Lace Cardstock may fall off when your cutting. I try to glue those smaller pieces back onto my background cardstock. I saved the middle section of my Lace Cardstock to use on another project. "
Lisa Dickinson cut and stacked together several Glitter Lace Cardstocks to create such a unique look. She filled some of the open spaces with white cardstock to help the layers separate. I think I'm going to scraplift this!
Gretchen Mcelveen combined two Glitter Lace Cardstocks to create a fun and funky background for her layout. She based it on white cardstock so it was easy to work with. Love how she backed the hearts with red and then added red brads to the top hearts to tie it all together. Lots of doggie love!
We always go back to my little hometown for a family BBQ and parade in town. This year it rained...boo hoo!
