Sheer Delights are such an amazing and versatile product. If you don't have any yet, we're going to convince you that you need some....and if you've got some, we'll give you some great ideas to use them!
We challenged the KI DT to come up with some fun ways to use Sheer Delights, and they didn't disappoint! From layouts, to mini books, to home decor....Sheer Delights are about to rock your world!

I used a Bind-it-all to make this journal out of cardstock and used a Sheer Delight to create a cool cover for it. Then I embellished the Sheer Delight cover with Bloom paper & chipboard to make the flower. I love that the Sheer Delight {obviously} makes the cover clear but still has some weight to it to protect the paper inside.
I used them as serendipity squares for my background and then mounted them on pop dots. I highlighted a few of the words by putting strips of kraft cardstock on the backside of the sheer.

by Dustin NakamuraIt's a placemat that I made for my daughter. I cut out her artwork and glued it on top of the Sheer delight. I added her name and some round stickers. I covered the placemat with clear contact paper and trimmed off the excess.
I had this picture frame, where the photo is supposed to be displayed "floating" between two pieces of glass, without a matte. I decided to use a floral sheer as the matte...

by Jennifer JohnerI did my layout, layering the Sheer Delight over top of cardstock. That is one of the things I love most about Sheer Delights... they are so versatile, and can take on sooo many different looks, just by what you put under them! It is like being able to make your own custom patterns!! I used adhesive under the photo to adhere it to the cardstock.. that way it stayed out of sight. When it was all finished and adhered, I decided to trim the cardstock, following the scalloped edge of the Sheer Delight. Clouds and sun are hand cut from cardstock.
These two projects were made from the recent KI Kindergarten-Let's Party Class. I substituted Sheer Delights and ended up with some festive projects!
This is an easy little counting book. Just cut a Sheer Delight into equal sized squares and add numbers. Punch a hole in one corner and tie together with a ribbon. Perfect for a child learning to count!
Make a little mini book by trimming a Sheer Delight to size and then folding in half. Punch holes in the spine and tie together with ribbons. Makes a great brag book for grandparents!
We hope you enjoyed these projects and got some inspiration from them. We'd love to see what you've made with Sheer Delights! Post a link to your Sheer Delights projects in the comments below for a chance to be featured on the KI Blog!
