Hey everyone! I hope you are enjoying this holiday season! Christmas is just three days away and Hanukah has already started. If you are like me, you still have gifts to purchase or make. This CD case calendar might be just the project you are looking for! Not only is it easy to make, it's a gift that keeps on giving throughout the year.
First, you'll need a CD case - any CD case will do. Simply remove the piece that the CD fits into and take out whatever paper is in there. You can throw this insert in the recycle bin. Then gently pry off the cover and put it on again backwards. This will be your stand.
Then print out the PDF I created with the months on each page.
I used white cardstock, but you could certainly use kraft or any other color. Cut each month out using the crop marks provided. Now you can decorate each card however you'd like. You'll want to keep the pages fairly flat as you want them to be able to fit in your stand. Here I simply dug into my KI Memories stash and chose 12 sheets of KI Memories themed paper to represent each month and adhered across the tops of page. I selected papers from the Holiday Paper Pad, School Days, Festive, Sheer Delights, Glitter Cardstock, Fire, and Color Theory lines. Super simple and sure to wow the recipient!
Link your calendar in the comments section here, I'd love to see what you come up with!
