The fish I created here was inspired by a towel in the Pottery Barn kids catalog. You could also create a funky handcut title that gives a fun and playful look. I have been scrapbooking for nearly twelve years, yet I have only made one layout about myself. Before I had kids, I made scrapbooks for my sister and her kids. I have made hundreds of layouts for my daughters. I always tell myself that I need to make layouts about myself, but it never seems to happen. I know that I am not the only scrapbooker that does this, right? My challenge to you this week, is to scrap one of your hobbies. If your not in the mood to scrap a hobby, how about a page about yourself?
This layout is about my love of taking photos. I call myself the “photo taking fool”, because I take so many photos. Instead of being behind the camera, I was in front of the camera for a change. Hi Everyone!
This week's challenge is a simple one. Get a photo or group of photos together and take a look at it/them. What's the first thing that comes to mind when you see them? That's your title!
I took these photos the other day when my daughters were playing dress-up. It was a just a fun Sunday afternoon thing - no big event, but I had fun capturing them being silly. When I took a look at the photos, all I could think was how goofy the were acting. And so there was my title.
I did this layout with the Friendship line. I'm really loving it right now. The accents are too cute and the colors just really seem to work well with my girly photo subjects.

One trend that I have not yet taken full advantage of is glitter. Glitter is everywhere in scrapbooking these days! However, I think I have stayed away from glitter because I would just make a royal mess (as if my scrapbooking stuff isn't a big ole mess already!!). But KI has made it a little easier for me (and less messy!) by creating a bunch of new, glittery products. They have done the messy part for me! Check out the new glitter lace cardstock and the glittery specialty papers and fun glitter stickers and even more glitter stickers!!
So my challenge for you today is to use glitter on a project. Easy enough, right??!! However you want to use glitter, just do it! I chose the easy way out and used some of the fun new Chunky Red alphabet stickers.

Hi everyone!
Do you have a fun zoomed-in photo you've been wanting to scrapbook? Maybe a creatively cropped picture? Perhaps you've even done something cool with a wide angle lens? I love focusing in on the faces of my family and friends and these photos almost always turn out to be my favorites. And, of course I love that they can help to make such a dynamic scrapbook page.
Now your close up doesn't have to be of a face or even a human (maybe your doggy?!)...any close up will do for this challenge. I have had this photo of my niece in my drawer for about a year now and those squinty eyes just make me smile! :) For my page, I used paper from the Friends theme paper pad, Cute Pink glitter letters, and Girl ribbon.

This week we were sad to hear of the passing of a beloved pet. Simba lived a happy 11 1/2 years with his parents, Kim and Ira. The KI DT created a few cards for Kim and Ira, and are sharing them with you today. We hope they will inspire you to send a card to a friend when they lose a furry family member.
That banner is absolutely adorable! So cute. I might just have to take a drive to the last remaining scrapbook store in town to look for that line of product. I have not won anything. Yet. :)
